Warshaw – Austerlitz 2005
For club "Otetchestvo" (Life-Guard Grenadier Regiment 1805-1817), also for other clubs gone with us ("Legion" Moscow; "6-th mouth of horse artillery " Samara; "Brest infantry shelfs" Minsk), all has begun a week earlier as from Poland the invitation to November, 26th to action in Warsaw - "Night of the Leaf fall" 1830.
At once it would be desirable to note successful passage of all borders - Belorussian-Polish and Polish-Czech both there, and back - no more than 2 hours.
On November, 26th Warsaw has met us a lung frost . All action has begun at 17.00 in Old city - we have taken up "impact" on the area at the Royal lock. And further fight went on streets of the Old Place. Not looking at constants "skrimish", losses have fallen to all lost sign from kiver … After fight the buffet table for participants of action took place.
Have placed us in a barracks of military school - there were fat spring mattresses, on 2 blankets and pillows.
Hospitable Poles have sheltered us for 2 days (though initially organizers had been stipulated one spending the night). We have taken a walk across Warsaw, have visited Museums of the Army Polish and Archeology.
On Monday we were in Krakow and on the night of Tuesday have driven to Czechia.
Were placed in decent hotel and 2 days "mastered" Prague. Has carried with weather - was slightly frosty and chilly. Prague - the finest city, in ornaments to Christmas looked even more beautifully. When on city twilight silence of evening Prague we have gone down has broken a roar of a Leib-grenadierial regiment drum …
On Thursday from morning have called in in Carlstain - the most beautiful place of Czechia, and have arrived to Brno in the evening and were placed in a barracks.
On Friday - free day, have looked Brno.
In the evening we have arranged - for the first time on Austerlitz! - ball in honour of our day a shelf since, unfortunately, all visitors whom we would wish to see on our holiday, could not arrive on December, 18th to Moscow. There were many visitors with gifts, all ladies were just fine in the evening dresses. All was possible on glory.

At 8.00 there was a construction. Then all participants have taken out by buses on a floor of battle to Slavkov. Till 12 o'clock were engaged перестроениями, preparation for fight. In 12.00 - a dinner. Battle at 13.00 has begun.
As to us, a banner Leib-grenadierial regiment, supported by group of Leib-grenadiers of Brno (25 person), developed ahead of 4-th column, to order which have charged to our commander regiment - Alexandr Gapenko. The structure of the case, except for Leib-grenadierial regiment (our and Czech) included some more Czech clubs, uniforms on Russian army which have pleasantly amazed: all commands were given by the Czech officers in Russian, they and soldiers, well enough knew Russian, so no problems existing. A level of regimentals - high enough. Also in structure of 4-th column there were some German groups, Belarus, Ukrainian, etc.
The unique Russian instrument on ffield of Austerlitz was to ours - with artillery calculation 6-th mouths of horse artillery from Samara under my command. First our gun stood under covering of infantry of 4-th column, but then, amazed by clearness and coordination of work of calculation the commander of "Allied battery", has put our instrument in the general battery of the Austrians and Prussians. For fight our instrument has made 46 shots.
Fight has ended with a hot supper on a field and beautiful fireworks.
After fight there was a parade across Brno after which participants have brought in a barracks. Since morning participants of action have gone to Sunday on the Tomb of the World where have given honours to all victims at Austerlitz. Well, and then - having said goodbye to friends, we have gathered and have gone home …
